Who we are
At Elliot Leigh TLC we provide Shared, Standalone and Studio accommodation for young people in care between the ages of 16 to 25. Our sole aim is to ensure our accommodation provides an environment which is safe and feels like a home. We are so much more than just a room.

The team possess a wide range of key skills and experience which is key to success within this industry. Every TLC team member understands the needs of young individuals and always aims to help them overcome the challenges they may be facing. To ensure this we provide extensive training to all team members and have clear channels of communication open to assist in any way we can.

Iqrar Khan
Head of Operations
Iqrar has worked with young people for over 18 years, in residential and outreach settings. Iqrar has a Level 5 qualification in Management for Health & Social Care, child psychology and safeguarding. Iqrar is also qualified as a health and social care trainer, and he has completed PTTLS level 4 award in education and training.

Andrew Berthier
Business Development
Andrew reports directly to Elliot and Leigh, he oversees the management and operation of all aspects of our corporate plan. Andrew has an excellent understanding of safeguarding, compliance issues and financial management. Developed over his 25-year career as a director and trustee of multi-million-pound organisations, for both not-for-profit and the private sector.

Paula
Key Worker
Paula has gained qualifications in health and social care level 2 and 3 and further obtained health and social care qualifications at Anglia Ruskin university.
Paula is passionate, caring, and well-motivated once she puts her mind towards this. Paula’s previous experience includes being a support coordinator, working at a nursing home, at residential homes, at a hospital, day centres, housing, and as a customer service adviser.

Rachel
HR Administrator
Rachel has been working with Elliot Leigh TLC since June 2021. Previously she has worked at Morgan Stanley and KPMG. She also Co-Chairs on the Committee at Variety, the Children’s Charity, on which she has been an active member providing mobility for young people aged under 19, for over 20 years.

Gemma
Key Worker
Gemma is very passionate about working with children and young people/adults. She has worked in many sectors including childcare, residential, educational settings and care leaving services for the best part of 8 years.
Gemma has completed a Degree in Education and Childhood Studies and went on to complete a master’s degree in Clinical Child Psychology. Gemma enjoys working with care leavers by building positive relationships, providing care and consistency

Pasche
Team Leader
Pasche has been working in the care industry for the past 10 years. She has good experience in this field.
She has personal experience of being a care leaver and understands the difficulties young people face. She is passionate about young people’s voices being heard and motivating young people to achieve their goals and dreams.

Chloe
Key Worker
Chloe has been working with children and young people for around 4.5 years, it is her personal passion to support individuals to be the best versions of themselves and reaching their goals for a brighter future.
Chloe is currently studying NVQ level 5 in leadership and management in residential childcare and continuing to strive to be the best support worker.

Charlene
Key Worker
Charlene has worked for the organisation for nearly 3 years now as a keyworker. She has studied in health and social care and has worked with young people for more than 20 years.
Charlene has worked in both residential and outreach settings. She is passionate about her job and enjoys working with young people to obtain positive outcomes.

Dawn
Placement Officer
Dawn works closely with local authorities and social workers to support the care of young people.
Dawn is also chair of governors for a secondary school for the last 16 years so well suited to understanding the needs of young care leavers.
Dawn’s previous experience has been in working in luxury retail for over 30 years. In her spare time, she like to travel and read and spend time with her family.

Christopher
Housing Officer
Christopher has been in the housing industry for almost 20 years.
The main focus of his role is ensuring the general maintenance, help & assistance with the housing element of the properties that our young people to reside in.
Christopher also assists the placements officer with signups and helping the TLC team with everyday housing maintenance issues which can arise.
