Outreach/Key Worker Job Application

We are looking for confident and dedicated key workers who enjoy the challenges of young people.

It won't always be straight forward or easy & you will have to have patience & dedication to win the trust of your young person/s

It can be both frustrating and rewarding as changing lives and shaping futures is a long term undertaking.

What we do:

We are dedicated to providing housing related support to young people. As an Outreach Worker, you will be key in helping our young people develop and implement solid life skills in order for them to fulfil their potential. The environment you will be working in will contribute to life-changing results for our young people. Your drive and ambition for our young people will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.

  • Support and supervise young people in the community

  • Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people

  • Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect

  • Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping and reports

What experience or qualifications would I need?

  • 2 years+ working with young people over 16 years old

  • Full driving license and access to your own car (essential)

  • A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.

  • Strong computer literacy (as you will be expected to use our online program to record all work, in logs, key workings, monthly reports)

  • Be a team player

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Qualification in Health & Social Care

  • Current Enhanced DBS in Adult and Children Workforce

In return we will reward you with:

  • Salary starting at £12.75 p/h, after probation rising to £13.20 p/h
