We are incredibly proud to announce that the Elliot Leigh team has achieved a significant fundraising milestone, successfully raising over £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support during our recent coffee morning!
Elliot Leigh was proud to host the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning 2025 on Friday, September 26th. This cause is close to many of our hearts, and we were so pleased to take part once again to help raise vital funds for people living with cancer. This fantastic result is not just a testament to the team’s generosity, but also a direct reflection of Community Support, one of Elliot Leigh’s core company values, which is fundamental to how we operate.
The Heart of the Event
The atmosphere in the office was buzzing, largely thanks to the incredible effort put in by the team. A massive thank you is due to our amazing Placements Manager, Sarah, who arranged the event beautifully, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Our staff truly outdid themselves this year, contributing a spectacular, diverse spread for both coffee and lunch. From the sweet treats, including rich Lemon & Blueberry Cake, chewy Blondies, and classic Bakewell Tart, to the incredible savory dishes—such as comforting Mac n Cheese, savory Sausage Rolls, Balkan Banitsa, and flavourful Jerk Chicken with Jerk Sauce—there truly was something for everyone to enjoy.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every donor. Whether it was cash placed generously in the office box or contributions made via the QR codes, your support will make a meaningful difference.
Our Social Values in Action
At Elliot Leigh, our commitment extends beyond property management and guaranteed rents; giving back is a core element of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We believe in supporting initiatives that have a measurable, positive impact on the lives of others, and Macmillan’s work is a perfect example of this.
This event showcases our Community Support value in action. It’s an inspiring reminder of what we can achieve when we come together. Every member of the team, from those who baked and those who donated their time, showed a profound commitment to assisting those living with cancer and their families.
Looking Ahead
We are delighted that the over £500 raised will go directly to help people living with cancer access essential support services. A huge commendation to Sarah for her exceptional organisation, and a sincere shout-out to all the staff who baked and donated!
We look forward to continuing our support for valuable causes in the future and championing the core values that define us.
